PHYSICIAN'S FORMULA | I BOUGHT A LOT... | HAUL | REVIEW

Recently, one of our trusty pharmacies in Czech Republic, Dr. Max, decided to just drop everyone's jaw and introduce Physician's Formula. And everybody lost their frickin' mind over it. My friend sent me an Instagram post from a Czech beauty blogger...and since I don't follow people like that, I had no idea what was I missing!

They kinda broke the internet. It was everywhere. And as I was on my way to work, I decided to push my work shift a little bit and went to Novy Smichov to check out the goodies.

If you're like me, you cannot just take a look and go home. I need to try and experience everything! So yeah, I grabber a Butter Bronzer and thank god I did because they were being sold out everywhere. But except for this iconic bronzing legend I decided to grab a few more pieces to my collection.

The Healthy Foundation

I love trying out new foundations and I read a few very good things about this one, so I just couldn't resist.

The claims are pretty simple, it's supposed to be a long-wearing, buildable, and breathable foundation that provides lightweight, medium coverage with a healthy, satin finish. Also it's Hypoallergenic, Fragrance-Free, Paraben-Free, Gluten Free, Dermatologist Approved, Non-Comedogenic, Clinically Tested, Cruelty Free and Vegan. All the good claims, you could wish for.

It's supposed to be compatible with all skin types, has vitamins A, C, E and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and brighten and to improve appearance of skin tone. Also it has SPF 20! I love me a good foundation with SPF. The shade range was actually expanded quite a LOT since I started writing this post and I am very happy about that. However, when I was buying it, there were 4 very similar looking shades in the store and I was just not using my brain enough that day... I grabbed the shade LC1 without even thinking about the name. Light cool 1, which meant, of course, cool under tone which I do not have at all. The match is not terrible but it's a bit too pink for me. Next time, I will be picking up a neutral shade, no matter what number it will have next to the letters, always read the letters!

Anyway, you get 30ml of product, that seems fair to me. The bottle is quite big and also glass, which I not ideal for travelling. There's a doefoot applicator which some people don't like, I don't mind it that much. However, it's a no-go for using on clients. After some time the whole packaging got messy on the inside, almost like if the bottleneck was not secure enough around the doefoot and was leaking a little bit. I don't know but it gets a little messy and I don't like it. The price was 399 Crowns, but I saw that you can get it for less online even from other Czech e-shops.

What I do like is the foundation though! It's more light to medium coverage, but there's no problem when you need to build it up. It's very nice and lightweight, it blends like a dream and looks really nice even after hours and hours of wear. Hands down, one of my most favorite everyday foundations ever. I even take it with me when I travel, but the glass bottle gets a little annoying when you travel with it. However, I still really like it and with the SPF in it, I expect it to be my go-to for this summer! I wear it all the time, it works well with any primer, any powder, any cream base product. It's really impressive foundation considering, that it's mostly supposed to be healthy for your skin.

Eye Booster™ Lash 2-in-1 Boosting Eyeliner & Serum

Well this name is a mouthfull. I was just looking for a new liquid liner when I discovered, that Physician's Formula has a liner with a brush tip! I love an applicator like this, because it's really easy to use and helps the pigmentation, because the formula is usually more liquid than with a classic felt tip liner.

This one is actually also a lash serum, which made me doubt the functionality. I feel like everytime when a product wants to multitask, it just doesn't work well. I have mine in the shade Ultra Black, which makes me think that the original black maybe wasn't black enough? Anyway, they got it down so well.

Again it's Hypoallergenic, Fragrance free, Paraben free, Dermatologist approved, Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. And you can use it on its own or under another eyeliner.

The brush tip makes it really easy to use and the pigmentation is really good for a product that claims to be a serum. It's so nice! Immidiatelly it became my new favourite liner and after using it for several months, I'm really happy with how long it lasts. I feel like there's not much competition in this type of eyeliners so I was glad, that someone came up with another one to compete the NYX Epic Ink Liner. The price is not terrible, it's around 350 Crowns. I don't know how much product you get but I would say it's quite a lot. I've been using this liner non-stop for about 4-5 months now and it still works like a charm.

It doesn't fade, it's really black, it doesn't smudge too bad. It's not waterproof but it holds well even on my watery eyes and you never miss a wing because this is the easiest liner I've ever worked with. And also it helps to grow your lashes! What a good combo.

Murumuru Butter Bronzer

Do I even have to write about this one?

This is a staple in the beauty community. So many people have talked about this and about how this product smells. Everybody just went to smell it!

I picked up the original shade called "Bronzer", but they had 4 shades in the store. Online there's actually 8 shades. The price is 399 Crowns, which is not very cheap and you get 11g of product. It has a very nice, almost buttery, consistency and it blends and layers very seamlessly. It's the only bronzer I own that looks this blended in such a short time. You pretty much just put it on and you look like a sunkissed blended godess. This is what everybody wants.

Once again, the bronzer is Hypoallergenic, Paraben Free, Gluten Free, Oil-Free, Dermatologist Tested, Vegan and Cruelty Free. It is infused with Murumuru butter, Cupuacu Butter and Tucuma Butter which makes it something between a powder and a cream bronzer. It's supposed to be very hydrating, brightening, bronzing (duh) and it's packed with essential fatty acids and pro-vitamins that soften, condition and moisturize skin. A lot of claims for a bronzer.

Once again, I love this so much. I feel like I've stepped up my bronzing game so much with this bronzer and it just looks amazing. I really like the shade, it's not too warm of too cool, just the right bronzy color. And it smells like a vacation, which is exactly what I need to smell every other morning before I go to work.

Murumuru Butter Blush

I've heard so many people hate on this product and I cannot understand why.

It's supposed to be the same formula as the Butter Bronzer, but in a form of blush. The description says the same butters, same texture benefits and similar ingredients, so basicly it's the same thing, just a blush. I think it retails for 399 Crowns, but I don't recall exactly. However, it's not the cheapest.

In the store, there were 4 shades, online there are 7 shades. I saw a few people online buying the lightest shade called "Natural Glow", which I swatched and almost did not see at all. That's more of a soft glow, topper, highlight kinda thing or a very very pale blush. I picked up the shade "Nude Silk" because I wanted to go for something a bit more peachy and the shade is adorable. It's not too pigmented and it blends just as good as the Butter Bronzer. I love the color, it goes with everything and isn't too much in your face. It's subtle but not invisible and you can layer it if you need to pack a bit more punch with you blush.

Overall, I'm very happy with this blush. I have a lot of blushes but I keep reaching for this one over and over again because it's so nice and quick to use. Also, it looks like they are not making my shade anymore and they a more peachy shade instead.

Brow Last Longwearing Brow Gel

I have this thing, that whenever I see a different and new and inovative and weird product, I just need to have it. This blew my mind the first time I saw it.

First of all, the colour was just perfect. It's really hard to get good brow products in the drugstore and in general without breaking your budget and especially if you're looking for a cool-toned light brown.

This brow gel was just perfect. It has the coolest light brown color, it looks amazing with my kinda dark blonde roots and it doesn't turn red on me. I love it. It comes with a big but short spooley, which is actually very easy to use and when you screw off the spooley part, you will see the most bizzare looking thick liner brushed dipped in brow gel. More like a pool of brow gel. I got the darker shade, Medium Brown which is still pretty light. There were two shades in the store but online I see 4 shades.

It kinda feels like a pomade but I find it easier to manipulate and to work with. You can ho very bold and draw the outline of your full brow just like you would do with a pomade. Or you can draw just bits of it and work it in with the spooley for more natural finish.

I usually go in with the brush on the bottom of my eyebrow, because there I usually need the most precise line and I kind of fill the brow above and brush it through. It gives a very nice and full look that doesn't look as harsh. Also this brow gel holds the hairs so well. I've never had a brow gel this effective, it really holds everything for the whole day. It doesn't smudge or move. It dries quite fast but you have plenty of time if you need to fix something. It's also easy to wipe away if you made a mistake.

Now, on the website it says that it's a longwearing, water-resistant, transfer-proof, smudge-proof, budge-proof brow transformer with brow-enhancing ingredients. That sounds fancy. But I believe that every one of these claims is true. This is a very well lasting and working brow product. It's also infused with fibers, which I didn't know until I read it on the website and it has vitamins E and B, and it's hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, paraben-free, dermatologist approved, clinically tested, cruelty free. Once again a whole bunch of claims. You get 6,5ml which doesn't sound like a lot but you really dont use much product at all, and also you don't really waste much of the product because you draw it directly on your brow. Or you could put it on the back of your hand and go in with a brush.

I bought this brow miracle for 299 Crowns and to be honest it's become one of my most favorite brow products, I think the price is absolutelly accurate, you get a lot of product. It's just so easy to put on, clean up, the color is spot on and it lasts for ages. I couldn't recommend this enough.

The Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick

I was a little hesitant with these but I got charmed by one of the colors in the lipstick collection. I like trying new liquid lipstick formulas, I wear them all the time and this one looked like a reasonably priced comfortable formula, that I need.

According to the website, it's supposed to be very opaque, moussy, long-wearing and lightweight. There's avocado oil in the formula, which I believe is the ingredient Sephora Collection puts into their lip stains, so I was excited for this. There's also hyaluronic acid, anti-ageing peptides and vitamins A and E. I got it for 239 Crowns.

I am very sad to report that I really, really don't like this lipstick at all. First of all, it's all that it says. It's very opaque, the colors are beautiful, formula is light and lasts well and is very comfortable. That for me always balances the wear time, because this lipstick probably won't survive every food but you won't have to scrub it off your mouth a few hours later. I really enjoyed wearing it. But there's one thing I cannot stand about this lip than apparently, noone notices. It's the smell. It has the strongest spicey smell that is just giving me headache as soon as I open it. I really love the formula but the smell is just making me sick just thinking about it. I couldn't find any reviews online that would mention this, so maybe my nose is the only nose on this planet that smells it, but it's absolutelly awful. I went back to the store to see if there's a tester, that could prove me wrong and maybe I was hoping that I got a bad one. But no, all of them smelled like this. So I am very sorry but I probably won't wear this lipstick ever again. If you're thinking about buying it, I really recommend it but go to nearest Dr. Max that sells them and make sure, you won't experience the same thing that I did. Because I really wanted to wear it more. Dammit, I really wish they revamped them without the smell, that would be great.

Rosé All Day Oil-free Serum

I was just on a hunt for a new serum, when Physician's Formula launched and this was actually the first product I wanted to buy for sure. I am a big fan of all skincare and serums and good stuff and I am also a lover of rose water. This serum has rose water in it, it should calm, sooth and hydrate the skin. There's also extract from Goji and Kakadu Plum, which is richest fruit on vitamin C. Or at least, that's what's on their website.

Overall, it a brightening and tightening serum which does have pearlescent pigments in it, so it really gives you a nice glow. I can see that some people may like to wear it by itself, because it gives such a nice and healthy looking skin.

I believe I got it for 399 Crowns, which is quite pricey, but I had high hopes. And I also don't mind spending money on skincare that actually works and makes my face look and feel better. This serum was indeed very nice and brightening, but I don't feel like it did too much for my skin. It was soft and hydrated, but I feel like that's something I get with a lot cheaper products and even just rose water gives me similar results. So for me, I don't think that the results were worth it, even though I liked using it, but with different serums and products I can actually see a lot more difference in my skin. Maybe if you have dry skin, this could give you a nice base for your make of just a good dose of hydration. Or if you're starting with serums in general and you would like something more glowy, this could be a nice option.

Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Shadow & Liner

I really wanted to pick up some eyeshadow when I was in the store, so I looked at stuff I didn't already have. These tiny shimmery palletes caught my eye and I really loved the on with the blue shade which is the Bronze Nude Eyes.

Surprisingly, when I got home and did a little research on what I just bought (that's how I do it), I found out that these are actually pretty cool. You get 6 shades, 2 smaller ones and 4 bigger ones and an applicator, that could actually work as a liner or very precise shadow applicator, so I'm not mad at that one. I got it for 319 Crowns, which is not a grerat price, but Physician's Formula is on the more expensive side here in Czech Republic. It's also safe for contact lense wearers.

You can use these wet or dry, they should last up to 24 hours, give you a perfect bronzed nude look. There are multi-reflected pigments in the formula, so the glam should be real. I was very impressed by these. I don't own anything like those, the metallic finish of these is insane. They are very smooth when you apply them with your finger, but they can flake a little when you dig your brush in too hard. So be carefoul about the fallout. The finish of these reminds me of the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb, there's a similar gel-like feel to them and the sparkle is just as incredible. Even my camera couldn't take it. The picture is not the best, but I tried.

I use these all the time to add an extra sparkle to my looks and I don't have many gold shimmers so these are just perfect. To my surprise, you can actually make a full look using only these, because the darker shades blend very well even though they are metallic eyeshadows. I am very impressed by these.

The packaging is also really compact and small, so if you need a quick little pallete for a vacation, this is just perfect. I cannot wait to do all the beach looks with it this year. I cannot recommend this one enough. There are also multiple versions of this little pallete, so if you're not into these gold nudes, there are several more options for you but I recommend checking it out.

So here was a little bit of an old haul with my impressions on Physician's Formula products that I got. Overall, I am very impressed with this brand in general. I cannot wait to actually try a mascara from them, because I have very sensitive eyes and I am still looking at some more products to test out.

Except for the lipstick, I love everything I got from them and I've been using their products on daily bases for months at this point. It's not the cheapest but you're paying for good products from solid ingredients that are suitable for people with many different needs and that are designed to help your skin as well. Every one of these found its way into my daily routine and I have a LOT of makeup, si that's a big thing for me.

Have you tried any of the Physician's Formula products? Which one is your favorite? Let me know below and thanks for reading.
