CORAZONA | BEST CHEAP BRUSHES?! | REVIEW

Recently with the launch of xobeauty.cz I discovered a brand named Corazona. A spanish brand focused on makeup tools, mostly brushes. Their pricepoint was very much my speed so I decided to dive in and I couldn't keep the results to myself, right?

Corazona is a spanish brand which makes very affordable products. I've never heard of them to be honest, but when browsing the e-shop they really caught my attention. They have a very simple teal-green handles and white bristles, but the shapes seemed very unique to me. It's very hard to get ahold of brushes for eyeshadow that aren't just blending brushes. Brushes for detailed work are sold for example at morphe.com but still that takes a lot of time to ship and it's not as convinient as a Czech-based e-shop. So I gave it a shot.

I went for three eyeshadow brushes and a foundation brush. I am on a constant hunt for the best foundation brush ever made. And also for the best affordable brushes in general, because ever since I tried the Essence brushes, I believe, that cheap brushes can be absolutelly fenomenal.

Each brush comes in a little zippable plastic bag, well packed and protected with a little plastic pouch around the brush brustles. Very well protected in my opinion. There's a lot of plastic involved though. The bristles on all of these feel very nice and soft and also not a single bristle fell out since I got them. They seem to be very good quality to me and yes, the bristles are synthetic. Now let's look at them one by one.

Corazona Foundation Brush 124

This brush reminded me so much of my NYX Multipurpose Buffing Brush that I just had to get it. It looked a little more flat, with shorter bristles and a little more dense, which is exactly what I was looking for at the moment. It was 159 Crowns, super cheap. It's round and the surface of the brush is actually much bigger than it looks. It's capable of covering my face very quickly. It's very similar to the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, but bigger, which is great for my big face. I love that RT brush, but it takes me too long to blend anything in with it because it has a very small surface area. This one is perfect in that way. It doesn't make my foundation streaky and it even blends the product well on my nose. I am really impressed with this brush.

Corazona Precision Shadows Brush 220

This exact brush I've been trying to get for ages. Morphe does a similar type of a brush but it's often sold out and more pricey for sure. A little flat rounded and slightly fluffed and perfect for detailed eyeshadow looks. This brush is perfect for packing on pigment and slightly blending it out with the edge. It's just such a necessary brush for me and I'm so glad I finally have it! It was only 139 Crowns and I'm kind of fighting the urge of getting 5 of those. If you're into more detailed work and packing on colors, go get it.

Corazona Eye Shadow Brush 232

The 232 and 216 are both very similar in shape to be honest. It's quite hard to tell the shape of Corazona brushes just from the pictures online, but this one looked like a small blending brush, perfect for scratching that pigmented edge and getting a flawless blend. It's not too dense, it's nicely tappered and it works very well for focused blending and diffusing colors. It's 139 Crowns, again, super cheap and it performs very well. Small blending brushes are also very hard to get.

Corazona Eye Shadow Brush 216

This brush is very similar to the 232, but it's even shorter, slightly less tappered and a little bit more dense. It's also very good for detailed work and blending those smaller areas or thin lines. I was really missing a brush like this to blend out edges of very winged eyelooks without making a mess in an area that's just too wide. This brush is just perfect for that. It's 139 Crowns, which is a great deal once again.

Final thoughts

If you cannot already tell, I am in love with all these brushes. They quality is very good for insanely reasonable price. They are getting sold out pretty quickly and I'm not surprised because they are worth having for sure.

If you struggle with finding brushes good for detailed looks or a good foundation brush, I would highly recommend these. I haven't tried the other brushes Corazona offers, but I can image they will be very similar quality. I am very happy that I have found a brand that can be delivered to me fast and has the specific brushes I needed in my collection.

Do you have a favorite affordable brush brand? Let me know in the comments and check out Corazona brushes, I really believe they deserve a shout out. Thanks for reading!
